RE Day - Thursday 8th October (65 images)

The topic for our RE day was Why Harvest? We were visited in school by John from Barnabas who led each class in workshops thinking about the parable of the Sower. Years 1 through to 4 visited St Mary's Church and created a whole school collage telling the story (this is on display in the Church). Each class then did various activities which helped us thinking about Harvest and the food which is provided. Reception and Year 1 made fruit kebabs, Year 2 made soup and apple crumble while Year 3 and 4 made Harvest Sheaves from bread complete with a little mouse.
